From all of us at National Life and The Point, thank you to everyone who attended this year’s Do Good Fest. You guys made it the best one yet and helped raise a record-breaking amount of funds for Branches of Hope, the cancer patient fund at Central Vermont Medical Center. Branches of Hope is a fund that helps cancer patients pay extraordinary expenses while they’re undergoing treatment and may be out of work.
Branches of Hope once supported itself through bake sales, but Do Good Fest has changed that. Those of you who came out this past Saturday (all 5,200 of you) helped raise $24,000 for the fund. The money will go a long way to ease the stress and burden that cancer patients and their families face every day. An additional $6,000 is being donated by the National Life Foundation, bringing the total amount of money raised this year to $30,000, and $56,000 over the past three years!
