National Coalition for Safe Schools

In 2018 there was an average of one school shooting per week, making it one of the most violent school years on record.

The national debate on school shootings can be polarizing. And unfortunately, little progress has been made over the last 20 years. Our children are crying for help and no one is listening.

The National Coalition for Safe Schools, founded by a group of teacher leaders with National Life, is a one of a kind teacher-led initiative committed to ending school violence.

Their mission is to provide teachers and school employees with the knowledge and resources they need to keep schools safe. And to ensure that children have access to the tools, services and support they need to live healthy productive lives.

The National Coalition for Safe Schools envisions a future where every K-12 school if a safe environment for learning. But to get there, they need your help.
