Frequently Asked Questions

When is Do Good Fest?

Do Good Fest 2017 will be held July 15th. Check back here in a little while for Do Good Fest 2017’s schedule, lineup, and list of participating vendors.

Do I have to buy a ticket?

Admission to Do Good Fest is free, but there is a parking fee of $20 per vehicle. All parking proceeds will be donated to Branches of Hope, the Cancer Patient Fund at Central Vermont Medical Center.

Is Do Good Fest family friendly?

Absolutely – families and children of all ages are more than welcome!

Is Do Good Fest accessible to people with disability?

Yes – please email us if you have any questions or need assistance.

Who does this benefit?

The goal is to help the community. Proceeds from the parking fees benefit the Branches of Hope Cancer Patient Fund at Central Vermont Medical Center. There will also be a lot more nonprofits on the grounds that you can learn about!

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, but given the crowds and music, it’s best to leave your pets at home, with the exception of certified service animals.

Can we bring our cooler?

We’ll have food vendors with a variety of different kinds of food and drink. Plus we’ll have a beer tent for adults. So we ask that you leave your coolers at home. And, sorry, but no bottles, cans, or glass.

What about chairs or blankets?

Oh, yes, please bring them! Seating will be on the sloping lawn with a good view of the stage, so please bring something to make yourselves comfortable.

Is there a rain date?

No, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a perfect sunny day! The show goes on even if there’s rain. If there are storms, we’ll have to suspend the performances until the weather passes.

Where can we park?

There are two places to park. We’ve got room for about 2,000 cars right here on the grounds. The parking fee is $20 per vehicle.

New this year, we’ll be running an Express Shuttle from parking at Montpelier High School to the Do Good Fest site. The shuttle will run on a regular schedule to and from the festival grounds. It’s still $20 for parking, but the shuttle is free.

If you want to park elsewhere and walk, that’s fine, too.

What if I don’t have a car?

Not to worry. The grounds are also accessible via walking or bike.
