Thank you for an amazing Do Good Fest 2015!
Many thanks to the more than 3,000 of you who joined us at Do Good Fest 2015 presented by National Life and The Point! With your help, we were able to raise a total of $15,000 for the Branches of Hope fund of the Central Vermont Medical Center. We are so grateful for everyone’s generosity and support, which helped us surpass last year’s total of $11,000! All proceeds will go directly to individuals and families receiving cancer care to help them meet financial obligations, from utilities to insurance copayments to transportation, while undergoing treatment and recovery We are proud to support the Branches of Hope Fund because of the peace of mind it provides to patients and their loved ones, including Danette Gagne, who continues to receive treatment in Boston.
If you are already eager to relive the day, follow us on Instagram or scroll down for pictures from the day.
We hope you had a chance to learn more about the many local nonprofit organizations who came to showcase their programs and services, and we hope you are inspired to support their efforts to do good for others in our local communities.
A big round of applause is also in order for the amazing musicians who performed at Do Good Fest 2015: The Alternate Routes, Panama Wedding, and Patti Casey & Colin McCaffrey, and of course our headliner O.A.R., who (despite a bit of rain) kept the energetic crowd entertained! The festival also featured children’s activities, lots of tasty food from local restaurants and vendors and a Harpoon Brewery beer tent, all capped off by a fantastic firework show. Thank you again to everyone for attending, volunteering, participating and making it an all around great day for a very worthy cause.
Finally, we’d like to thank our wonderful sponsors for helping us make Do Good Fest 2015 happen: The Point, Seven Days, Harpoon Brewery, Montpelier Alive and National Life Group Foundation.
See you all again next year at Do Good Fest 2016!
