Get Your Blanket Packed For Michael Franti And Do Good Fest 2019

Now’s the time to get your blanket and lawn chairs packed and stowed in the car so you’ll be ready for Michael Franti & Spearhead to take the stage at Do Good Fest 2019!

We’re only a week out from the sixth annual festival dedicated to celebrating our community and doing good by raising money to support cancer patients.

We’ve got an amazing show in store for you this year. Michael Franti is bringing his entire touring show to our lawn this year, part of his Stay Human tour.

And we’re also featuring Noah Kahan, a Vermont native who just released Busyhead, his debut album, to critical acclaim.

They’ll be supported by Hailey Knox, another rising pop star, along with Syd and SoundBrother.

Just a reminder that admission is free, but we do ask you to pay for parking. All of those proceeds benefit Branches of Hope, the cancer patient fund at Central Vermont Medical Center.

Parking passes are still available online for $20. The price goes up to $25 on the day of the show. You can also park at Montpelier High School for $20 on the day of the show and take our shuttle up the hill to the festival grounds.

How ever you get to our big sloping lawn at National Life Group, you’ll be treated to a multitude of food trucks, children’s activities, a nonprofit village and two beer gardens.

We open the gates at 2:30. The face-painting and other kids fun begins at 3 and the music starts at 4. You can look for Noah Kahan to take the stage around 6:15 and Michael Franti follows at about 7:30.

If you’ve got any questions about the festival, check out our websitev and our FAQs.

So now you’d better go digging in the closet for the blanket. It’s the best way to watch the fireworks that will cap our show.
