The mission of Vermont Foodbank is to gather and share quality food and nurture partnerships so that no one in Vermont will go hungry. Vermont Foodbank is the state’s largest hunger-relief organization and only food bank, providing nourishing food to neighbors through a network of more than 300 community partners – food shelves, meal sites, senior centers, after-school programs, schools, and hospitals. In 2024 Vermont Foodbank distributed more than 14 million pounds of food across all counties in Vermont, with nearly half of that being fresh food, helping to ensure that everyone in Vermont has access to the food they need and want.
