Branches of Life receives Do Good Fest donation

On July 29th, we presented Branches of Hope with a $15,000 donation representing the proceeds from Do Good Fest 2015 and a matching grant from the National Life Group Foundation. Over two years, Do Good Fest has raised a total of nearly $26,000 for the cancer patient fund.

We try to make our community a better place to live, and as National Life President and CEO Mehran Assadi said while presenting the donation: “We are especially proud that we’re able to help patients directly through the Do Good Fest.” 

We decided to step in after we learned that Branches of Hope was surviving entirely on the proceeds generated from bake sales. "We came to understand the vitally important services that Branches of Hope provides and knew we wanted to help patients during a difficult time of their lives," explained National Life Group President Beth Rusnock

The Do Good Fest 2015 was presented by National Life Group and The Point Radio Network and was co-sponsored by Seven Days, Harpoon Brewery, Montpelier Alive and the National Life Group Foundation.
