Do Good Fest Online Raffle Official Rules

The Do Good Fest Online Raffle (“Raffle”) is sponsored by National Life Group Charitable Foundation, Inc. (“NLG Foundation”), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organized under the laws of the State of Vermont.  NLG Foundation is an affiliate of National Life Insurance Company and the other companies comprising of National Life Group.

The Raffle is open to individuals who purchase a Raffle ticket online at https://dogoodfest.com and are at least 18 years old at the time of purchase.  Parkland Health’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Program will receive 100% of the Raffle proceeds.

As a condition of participating in the Raffle, you agree to be fully bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of NLG Foundation, whose decisions shall be final in all respects, and to waive any right to claim ambiguity with the Raffle, these Official Rules, or information contained on any website or in advertising materials where the Raffle may be promoted.  NLG Foundation reserves the right to modify the Official Rules, and you shall be deemed to have received notification of such modified Official Rules and accepted such modified Official Rules by virtue of your participation in the Raffle.  The Raffle is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.  The Raffle is governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without respect to conflict of law doctrines.

HOW TO ENTER THE RAFFLE:

The Raffle is open to individuals that purchase a Raffle ticket through https://dogoodfest.com and are at least 18 years old at the time of purchase.  The price of a single Raffle ticket is $100 and there is no limit on how many Raffle tickets an individual may purchase.  Parkland Health’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Program will receive 100% of the Raffle proceeds.

Anyone engaged in the organization and execution of the Raffle is not eligible to participate in the Raffle.  To maintain the integrity of the Raffle, NLG Foundation has the right, in its sole discretion, to void Raffle entries for any reason.

The entry period will begin on or about August 21, 2024, at 8:00 AM ET, and end on October 12, 2024, on or about 7:00 PM ET.  NLG Foundation reserves the right to accept Raffle entries after the entry periods has closed, but before the drawing(s).

WINNER SELECTION:

Winners of the Raffle will be selected in one or more random drawings conducted under the supervision of NLG Foundation.  The drawing(s) will take place in the State of Vermont on October 12, 2024, between 8:00 PM ET and 10:00 PM ET.  Winners will be notified via email to the email address used to enter the Raffle within two (2) days following the winner selection.  If a winner cannot arrange to pick up a physical prize in person, physical prizes will be shipped by NLG Foundation within seven (7) days following confirmation of a winner’s mailing address.  NLG Foundation shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to the winner’s email security settings (including spam or junk mail settings) or for a winner’s failure to provide a correct email address.  If a selected winner fails to claim the prize within five (5) days from the time the notification was sent, that individual forgoes the chance to win the prize and a new winner will be selected.

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:

All Raffle prizes are awarded by NLG Foundation as is and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  Any depiction of a prize, in promotional materials or otherwise, is for illustrative purposes only. 

All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners, and any required tax reporting forms will be furnished to the appropriate tax authorities.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

By entering the Raffle, you agree to release and hold harmless the National Life Insurance Company and its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, officers, directors, contracted advertising and promotion agencies, representatives, contracted sales agents, successors and assigns from any and all liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from any circumstance, including: (i) your participation in the Raffle and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind; (iii) unauthorized human or electronic intervention in any part of the entry or winner selection process; and (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of any portion of the Raffle.
