Just Announced: Guster Joins Do Good Fest 2017!
We're excited to announce that Guster will headline our fourth annual Do Good Fest! This New England-based indie-alternative band has been making music since the original band members got together at Tufts University in 1992. Guster’s songs remain packed with catchy choruses and dense lyrical detail amid muscular guitar riffs, clanging percussion, and deceptively dark lyrics.
Also on the line up are Vermont’s own Kat Wright and Dwight & Nicole, also based in Burlington.
National Life’s Do Good Fest Presented By The Point takes place July 15th from 3 to 9 p.m. on the natural amphitheater at National Life’s Montpelier headquarters.
Besides the music, there are family activities, food trucks, beer and wine, a nonprofit village and fireworks. Plus, it’s free. Parking is $20, and all proceeds are donated to Branches of Hope, the cancer patient fund at Central Vermont Medical Center.
We’ve raised $56,000 for Branches of Hope in our first three years. Come on out, enjoy the day, and do some good of your own!
