National Life Group establishes the Peace of Mind Fund to support local youth mental health nonprofits through Do Good Fest proceeds and its Foundation.

National Life Group announced the creation of the National Life Peace of Mind Fund during May which is mental health awareness month. This fund will distribute donations through the National Life Group Foundation to local nonprofits focused on supporting youth mental health.

“According to the National Institute of Mental Health, suicide is the second leading cause of death among people ages 10 to 24*,” explained John Mullett, president and CEO of the National Life Group Foundation. “With early intervention, this doesn’t have to be the case. The National Life Peace of Mind Fund will support vital and proven programs to help young people live their best lives.”

All proceeds from this year’s annual National Life Group Do Good Fest will be directed through this fund to five beneficiaries:

  • Clara Martin Center

  • Community Care Network

  • Elevate Youth Services

  • Howard Center

  • Spectrum Youth & Family Services

Do Good Fest donations to these nonprofits will be directed to proven programs that help youth. Supporting youth mental health and helping end childhood hunger are core to National Life Group’s focus on doing good for children and families.
